Surf photography is special to me. I enjoy the challenge of reading and trying to better understand how the ocean works so that I can put myself in the best position to nail the shot – Like this one! I love going over this album, it allows my mind to escape to my happy place! My spin on blending surf photography with landscape photography. I love the challenge of seeking unique angles to punctuate my images with powerful foregrounds and landscapes. It is lineup shots like this image that motivates me to get up early and explore new places. Plus, it never hurts to squeeze in a cheeky surf after shooting all morning.
