Pretty proud of this - a tiny film about the school my kids went to and the awesome stuff they do. The effort, skills and love that the Stanmore Public School team put into every day comes through in the script - which the kids wrote themselves.

When my commercial photography ground to a halt 5 years ago, I organised 71 lockdown Porch Portrait shoots (most of them in Stanmore), each one funding 50 OzHarvest meals for vulnerable Australians.

A lot has changed in that time - 3rd graders are now at high school, some families will have changed shape & size, pets moved on, lockdown hobbies forgotten.

During the upcoming Easter School Holidays, I aim to revisit some of those delightful families, couples and individuals, and capture them as they are now - 5 years later.

Friends, I have a longer post for you today. I'm giving something away to raise vital funds for my dear friend Caitlin Delaney.

Caitlin is a healthcare scientist and patient advocate, dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by cancer. She has successfully campaigned to Prime Ministers to approve new life-saving drugs, trained countless healthcare professionals in compassionate care, and tirelessly championed better funding, research, and access to critical services.

Recently, Caitlin provided invaluable advice and resources to my terminally ill brother, enabling him to pursue an experimental treatment that extended his life and gave our family the priceless gift of another year together.

But right now, Caitlin & her family are now facing an urgent situation. The best treatment for her rare cancer is “off-label”, and only available at enormous cost. Whilst the family has self-funded Caitlin's treatment since 2017, this time they need to reach further.

To help raise funds, I'm running a studio headshot day on Saturday 14th December (booking link below) and 100% of your shoot fee goes directly to Caitlin's treatment.
