Hi All,

Tracks Dance won best experimental film at the Fist Full of Film awards on Saturday night for the film "Homebodies" which I shot and edited to a track by Kuya James and Papertoy.

The whole project was one big experiment started during the first national lockdown by Kelly Benefoti and Jess Devereux, this 3min 40sec film being the tip of the iceberg.

If you're interested check out the film below and also follow this link to a description of the film installation that got canceled by the Darin lockdown in June/July.

https://tracksdance.com.au/homebodies-dance-film-installation

There you will find a link to the original project from the first lockdown and if you click the video tab you can see the silent films of each dance piece intended for the installation showing.

Great to now see it getting out in the world and grateful for the opportunity.

Also great to see Fist Full of Films back and look forward to it growing in strength again.

Congrats to all the Homebodies team!

Shot this great show a while back.

… a darkly comic study of ‘good blokes’, infidelity and revenge … that departs reality

Robert in Crisis explores the notion of why men sometimes make extreme and damaging decisions after being confronted with a situation they are not equipped to handle. This gripping monologue is expertly executed by playwright and performer Scott Gooding and is performed with black humour that treads a fine line between the understandable and the inexcusable. Issues of familial separation and domestic violence rear their ugly head and do not hold back on the inevitable destruction and consequence.

🌿Update!🌿
I’ve been busily working on a new album with James Mangohig that I’ve almost finished! 🎉💁🏻‍♀️

The album is called “Mary of the North” and the first single is called “Worth It” which is out March 6. 🙋🏻‍♀️🍁🐊

“Worth It” has quite a cool origin story and second life that I look forward to sharing in the coming weeks!

In Darwin, I will be throwing a launch party on Friday March 6 at the Lucky Bat Cafe & Pizzeria. Tickets on sale tomorrow (Monday 17) 💃🏻🕺🏻

Then I have some exciting tour dates to announce on Tuesday!
