Recent corporate headshots for Helping Hand, shot at their new premises.

The exterior shots were done on their balcony - I set up my studio lighting on the balcony and we used the trees in the far distance as a backdrop. The interiors were shot in one of the offices - the space was very small so I had to compromise bit on the lighting, but we managed to make it work. The client needed both smiling and more serious expressions. The sun was behind them on the balcony, which was perfect for the lighting - but incredibly challenging for flyaway hairs!

For this shoot I had 2 'studios' set up so that each person could just walk between the sets efficiently, rather than having to move lighting around or have people wait around - this setup worked well for the executive team who had a busy schedule. I love a location challenge and this was a really fun shoot!

Super fun fashion shoot with the talents of Sarah Jeavons and Mason Lloyd at my home studio Watermark Crossing ! This shoot was styled by the clever Kate at Midwest Trader and coordinated and led by Capture The Present- I managed to shoot a few frames whilst assisting Shaun with his shoot :) It's always an absolute joy to work with this team and with the impeccable styling and charismatic effortlessness of the models it was an amazingly easy shoot!

I love how the studio lends itself so elegantly to the style of the shots - this shoot showcases my studio and the flexibility of the spaces so well and I am so grateful to everyone involved! Studio shoots don't have to have a plain background. More to come from this shoot...

Kristopher came in for a Basic Headshot Package shoot for an audition he had coming up over the weekend - fingers crossed he nailed it! What at absolute dynamo this kid is! I hope you can see from these images that he does not lack confidence or charisma! We had such a fun shoot and these are just a few of the lovely shots we got. I cannot wait to work with him again and watch him mature as a young performer...

So Ava rocked up for a shoot at the Norwood studio Cog Creative Space with a perfect range of tops for her headshot shoot! Nice variety of necklines, textures and styles - and all pieces she loves and feels great in. This is half the challenge for people (besides the idea of having a camera pointed towards them at all!) and I thought it would be good to showcase the range that can be achieved from the same lighting setup with changes in outfits. Besides her excellent style it needs to be said that Ava, just 14, had SO much relaxed confidence during her shoot that I would 1000% recommend her to any talent agents in SA to snap her up! She is new to Adelaide and looking to connect with an agency to start her acting career. I can't wait to work with her again! :)

This shoot was so fun at my home studio with an amaaaazing team! My job on this shoot was actually as a BTS photographer but the lovely photographer Lindsay Rainey insisted that I do a few shots with the models. This is stylist and model India Worthington - she was gallant enough to do some shots outside on the property on a pretty cold day, and the natural light was perfect for these portraits. I also snuck in a few available light shots in the studio while Lindsay was shooting with flash. India is a star! Not only is she an incredible stylist, but she's an amazing model too, and such a gorgeous human!

Just shot 15 of the team from for updated profiles on their website and documents. What an amazing team of clever people! We scheduled them in 20-min intervals across the day to fit in with their busy work day. Such good fun as always working with them :)

What an amazing honour it has been to work with local musician Hilary Kleinig .kleinig on these portraits to promote her first ever solo album and tour - 'alone : together'.

alone : together is a record of her solo cello compositions 🎻

Hilary says, "These pieces began as an exploration: what could I create alone, at home, with just my cello, a microphone, and a computer? At the same time, I was aware that no act of creation exists in isolation. Each work is shaped by community, collaboration, and lived experience – even when made alone.
I set two rules for the process: each piece could be performed live through looping, with layers built one sound at a time, and any musical idea could only return if it had already been heard.
The result is ALONE : TOGETHER – a suite of eight compositions originally created for friends, dance, theatre, and performance projects. Each explores the cello’s sonic possibilities through layering and repetition, building intricate, evolving textures from a single instrument. Fusing influences of folk, classical, EDM, and pop, ALONE : TOGETHER moves between intimacy and expansiveness – a solo practice that becomes something collective".

The brief was very simple and we had a wonderful shoot in the Pro Studio at , capturing these portraits and catching up since our last shoot together. The music is hauntingly beautiful - you should check it out! What an absolute treat :)

We had such a laugh with these group shots for Axia Finance. I shoot tethered to a huge screen in the studio and people love seeing the shots as we work. But it can prove to be a distraction LOL, as seen here. But people do eventually get used to it and pull themselves together....
