G'day all, I want to celebrate all the amazing shots our community took in 2025. Please submit your best wildlife shots for 2025 to [email protected] following the instructions below. There are no prizes however there will be awards for each category and an overall award. These awards are purely an opportunity to showcase some amazing wildlife images that we can all enjoy.

Wildlife Photo Awards 2025

**Instructions**

- Image must have been taken in 2025
- The file title must have your name and the species
- 3 Images Per Person Total - You choose 3 categories from below.
- Images should be 4000 pixels wide on the longest end if possible
- Email photos to [email protected]
- Deadline is the 15th of December 2025
- Please follow the layout below for each photo in your email.
- Paid Members can submit an extra shot for Best Member

**Categories**

1. Not A Bird - Photo of any wildlife that is not a bird.

2. Best Portrait - The subject is the star of the photo

3. Best Budget Gear - Gear must be worth less than $2k USD total.

4. Best Beginner - Less than 2 years experience.

5. Small Subject in Habitat - Must include plenty of habitat.

6. Best Member - Must be a paid member of Duade Paton YouTube Channel.

7. Best Flight Shot - Must include bird in flight.

8. Funniest Picture - Includes something that made you laugh.

9. Best Story/Meaning/Connection - Must include accompanying story and why the photo/subject means so much to you.

10. Your Favourite - Your favourite photo from the year and why.
