A session from just before Christmas last year. We spent our time exploring the forest, collecting treasures on the beach and talking about our Christmas wish lists! It was just perfect.

Bookings are now open for September to December. The second half of the year always fills quickly, with families planning ahead for Christmas gifts, updating photos on the wall and documenting new chapters before another year slips by.

If you have little ones, September is perfect
for earlier sunsets and bedtimes. Or just embrace the fun and later evenings in October through to December (we often end in the water, the kids love it!) ✨

New location unlocked ⚓️✨

And I hope you love it as much as I do 🤗

I stumbled across this spot recently and knew straight away it would make the most incredible backdrop for family photos.

A yacht club ramp overhead, shallow water for the kids to splash in, rocks to explore, and that beautiful mix of beach, water and space to just play and move together.

What I love most about this location is how naturally it invites play, and that’s where the real magic always shows up ✨

This spot is best enjoyed outside of peak summer, so spring, autumn and even winter sessions here are going to be magic.

On that note, September to December bookings are now open for past clients 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If you’re new here, remaining September to December dates will be released on Wednesday at 10am.

Something a little different for me 🍦⛱️

Goodness this was a fun one! We headed to - the cutest little retro motel on the Mornington Peninsula. Think Schitt’s Creek with a glow up 💅🏼

Ice creams in the afternoon sun, cuddles with mum, a little dancing, piggyback rides and that dreamy retro backdrop everywhere you looked.

Family photos don’t have to happen at the beach or in a field somewhere. A favourite motel, city strolls, corner cafe, skatepark, your home…if it means something to you, it’s a yes from me.

We’ve unpacked, the snorkel marks have *finally* faded, but Fiji is still very much with us 🏝️

We snorkeled everyday, read books, played card games, watched every sunset and shared slow meals together. Day to day life can feel so busy, trips like this is are such a wonderful family reset 🥰

I cannot recommend enough. The cutest little island surrounded by crystal clear water and reefs full of colorful ocean life. My biggest regret? Not sourcing myself an underwater camera. Next time 🐠

I did however bring my big camera along, pre-loaded with a film simulation, and I’m so glad I did. Zero editing required (minus my usual horizon straighten 😉). I honestly wish I’d discovered this sooner. It’s basically an inbuilt filter that’s totally customizable to suit your style. This one was a Kodak Portra 400 simulation, and I already can’t wait to use again.

Which means I’m already mentally planning the next trip…this time with an underwater camera, of course ☀️

THEY’RE HERE…Wildflower sessions are open to all new clients 🌼🌼🌼

And just a little heads up…what’s left is what’s left. These are my most popular sessions of the year, soft golden light, open fields, kids running wild and free while I quietly capture it all.

Perfect for families, motherhood, maternity or even a newborn session.

Sessions take place between early November and mid-December, with a little flexibility around the flowers and, of course, Melbourne‘s ever changing spring weather.

If you’ve been thinking about it now it’s the time 🌼🌼🌼

Think greener days, layered knits, boots in the sand and families tucked in close. Cooler months don’t mean less magic, just a different kind, slower, softer and beautifully connected.
