The Warrior's spirit isn't just in the steel he holds, but in the wildness draped across his shoulders. A portrait carved from shadow, fur and resolve-echoing the myth and grit of a world long past, but never forgotten.

Held a portrait workshop for the Parkes Camera Club a couple of Sundays back on how to take good quality portraits in natural light using reflectors, a good time was had by all who attended, and all walked away with a bit more knowledge then before. She wears history with quiet pride.

This is Leonie-photographed in WWII uniform as a tribute to the woman who served.
While she didn't serve herself, her portrait I captured honours those who did: the nurses, the workers, the codebreakers, and the silent strength behind the front lines-and those who still serve today.
On ANZAC Day, we remember their grace, and their enduring legacy.
