This shoot filled my cup in the best way. ✨

What began as an opportunity to showcase a few new additions to my client wardrobe also gave me the joy of meeting and photographing another photographer whom I admire deeply.

When I stumbled across this enchanting pocket of wildflowers, my heart couldn’t resist the chance to create. Soft, dreamy, ethereal images that celebrate motherhood in all its beauty—woven gently into the landscape, surrounded by wildflowers, and held by the quiet embrace of nature.

Sweet Arabella loves her ducks and visits this spot regularly with her parents and baby brother. It was a peaceful, sun kissed morning and the light glistened and wrapped around her and her family in the most beautiful way. It was a sight to behold. ✨

Children are among life’s greatest gifts. They change the way we see the world, teaching us to notice the beauty in the smallest moments and expanding our hearts in ways we never imagined. They are little fragments of heaven - precious, full of wonder, and deeply loved.

If one of my purposes in life is to capture even a glimpse of these love stories - to preserve memories that can be revisited and emotions that can be felt again - I carry that privilege with the deepest gratitude and the highest regard.

It is an incredible honour to photograph a family— to capture their essence, to translate their heart and soul, and to preserve authentic moments that tell the story of a fleeting season in time.

My aim is to make a photoshoot feel less like posing for photos and more of a family experience. An intentional time to tune out the noise, reconnect and let the heart (or children) lead the way.

This session was a special shoot for Mother’s Day, and I had the most incredible time capturing those tender moments—and that wild, adventurous energy from her young girls, full of childlike wonder and exploration.✨

It means so much to have families return and invite me along to capture their journeys. I get to watch babies and children grow up and family dynamics evolve. I get to capture fleeting moments and seasons of the best years of life.

I used to shy away from calling myself an artist, but I feel trusted to create in my own way, (an honour I will be forever grateful for) and I am really loving the direction my photography is heading and how my creative confidence is growing. ✨
