Sharon’s ability to rally the community and bring people together for a great cause is truly remarkable. Launching her new website https://sistersofindia.com.au/ , the event was to raise awareness of Sisters of India and their beautiful, recycled saree products.

During a trip to India in January 2023, Sharon discovered the powerful story of Suman, a young woman rescued from trafficking. Inspired by the incredible work of Nirav Panchal and his wife, Sharon brought 200 handmade, recycled saree bags back to Australia—and they sold out instantly! This success led to the creation of Sisters of India, supporting women through sustainable initiatives. Sharon's compassion and dedication to making a difference is truly inspirational.
