Are You Martha or Mary?

Are we Martha's or Mary's? I was at Mass at Caritas earlier and this question was presented by Father Venus Praveen on Martha & Mary. A very substantive question with mind provoking thought. Martha was a busy woman, attending to daily items and but Mary was a more contemplative woman, without much weight on what should be done. When Jesus visited them and Lazarus was there as well, Martha was running to make Jesus feel home in her home, whereas Mary was just sitting and gazing upon Jesus with eyes glued to him....

When the Confession time is up

I was at the Q in one Parish for my confession; badly needed an encounter with Jesus. The warden came and told me that the time is up and the Priest had to say Mass. Oh my! That’s so hard and my soul needed a rest; but he said a nearby Churcb had a later Mass and that the confession was on....
