Alright. Im always getting asked how I get cute photos of peoples kids - so you’re gonna want to save this one, because here are some of my best tips!! ✨
There are lots of factors that come into it - what time of day it is, whether they’ve had a sleep, what age they are - but here are the best ways to get those gorgeous candid photos of your babies!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Let go if expectations!! Stop thinking you’re going to get that perfect photo of the kids smiling sweetly at the camera! Maybe you’ll get it, maybe you won’t - but chances are it won’t be your fave photo anyway! Usually the best ones are when they're looking at you, or each other, or playing and laughing 😍
2. Bribery. Call me controversial, but bribery works!! Usually only on kids who are around 2+ years old, but I guarantee you it works! Little things like smarties and sultanas are great as they're quick to eat, you can ration them out and they wont leave the kids with weird coloured mouths 😜

3. Get silly! Especially with little kids - you might find you just have to get silly! Make silly faces, blow rasberries, sing songs, dance, tickle... whatever you've gotta do to get those kids laughing!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. And on the topic of laughter - literally just tell them to laugh!! Usually it starts with a fake laugh, which progresses to a real laugh, and ALWAYS ends in an adorable photo with kids who are smiling (not grimacing... cheeeese 😬🤣)
5. Distraction! Bring along some activities, or use what you've got in the environment - throw some leaves, blow some bubbles, bring a ball to play with, have a running race, tell them to tickle each other or tell each other secrets! Giving them an activity to do will almost always distract them and get them in a good mood - and also makes for adorable pics! 😍

Look I could keep going about this all day, but I’m running out of space to write 🙊 if you’ve got any questions though, hit me up!!! I’m an open book and I love helping you guys out 🙌🏻💕
