A little reminder that family photos should fit around your life - not the other way around.

We scheduled this session earlier in the afternoon so it worked for their little one, and it was absolutely perfect ✨

At dinner I sometimes ask the kids random questions to keep them interested, eating, and in their seats a little longer 🍛🍽️

Things like -

“If you could have any superpower, what would it be?” Or
“What do you think Toby is thinking right now?” 🐶

Tonight it was just me and Dylan while we waited for the boys, and I asked her what the happiest day she could remember was.

She said, “the day I was born. And you and daddy are the best because you brought me into the world. And my teacher — she’s the best too” 😆♥️

Kids somehow say exactly what you need to hear, right when you need to hear it most 😭😮‍💨

And the way they can sound so wise while still being so little gets me every time.

Anyway… excuse me while I go cry into my cold dinner 🥹

This autumn was all about in-home sessions ❤️‍🔥🏡

Slower pace, cosy cuddles, big sis playing while you soak in your new baby - they’re relaxed, meaningful, and so much fun.

And you really don’t need the perfect home or perfectly behaved kids. The magic is in documenting your family exactly as you are right now 🤍

I’ve been loving these sessions lately and can’t wait for more this winter!

I’m really excited to be offering more in-home sessions. While I love studio sessions - I’ve just been pulled towards in-home sessions lately - these moments in your space are what you’ll want to hold onto and relive as your kids grow ♥️

It’s like you’ve all read my mind because I’ve been getting lots of in home session bookings! Can’t tell you how happy this makes me ♥️🏡
