You’ll find hundreds of photos of them…but barely any of you with them.
Somewhere along the way, mums become the memory keepers instead of part of the memory. Always behind the camera, capturing quiet moments, or loud ones but never able to step in.
And I get it.
You don’t feel ready. You don’t love how you look. You’re waiting until the kids sit still, or are a little older, a little “easier”, or less wild.
But as your babies grow, they won’t see any of that.
They’ll just look for you.
So this is your nudge, step in anyway. Hold them close. Laugh a little louder. Be in the frame, exactly as you are.
Because one day, these photos won’t be about how you looked, or how they were wild and didn’t sit still, they’ll be about the fact you were in them, together 💙
