Apparently, the photographer needs photos too… 😂📸

A little behind the scenes from my recent branding shoot — coffee in hand, camera nearby and trying to remember what to do when I’m the one in front of the lens! ☕️😂

As photographers, we spend so much time capturing everyone else’s stories that it can feel a little strange being the subject for once.

But having updated photos that actually feel like me is something I’ve been putting off for far too long… and I’m SO glad I finally did it. 🤍

Because behind every Tiny Feet session is a real person who gets just as excited about creating beautiful memories for your family as you do. 🥰

Now I just need to work out where I’m going to put all these new photos… 😂

When the session started and there is no sleep in sight😂👀

So instead of forcing the sleepy poses we had planned, we simply changed the flow of the session and followed her lead.

We moved through different poses, took our time, allowed for plenty of settling, and eventually came back around to those sleepy setups we had originally planned.

And the result? All those beautiful sleepy newborn images we were hoping for 🥹🤍

This is why newborn sessions need to be flexible. Sometimes baby just needs a little time to settle back into that sleepy state, and the best thing we can do is slow down, change direction and let them lead.

No rushing. No forcing. Just patience, gentle settling and following baby’s cues. 🤍
