There is a monster/black swan dwelling in Boranup Forest at the moment .
After the fires that went through there are many large holes where roots burnt out, thank goodness the trees still stand strong .
I have joined Margaret River Camera Club and this weeks them is ‘From the Ground Up’

Take action! The Northern Jarrah Forests are currently under unprecedented threat from multiple mining companies. It’s fantastic that Rio Tinto have withdrawn their applications (in purple on the map) but other mining companies including Chalice, Alcoa, South32 and Telupac must follow suit.

The State Government must create a network of new, secure national parks and protected areas across the Northern Jarrah Forests. Have a look at the Beyond 2024 mapping project, published by the Beeliar Group and Leeuwin Group: bit.ly/forestsBeyond2024
