We did it! MOORED is now officially open 🥳. What a lovely night it was with a large crowd of art and Freo supporters. Massive thank you for coming down to be part of this special event. Well done to all artists especially and for being the driving forces behind this group. Your commitment to your art and Freo community is not disputable. I’m grateful to be part of this project and to have my work shown alongside renowned Freo artist’s and Tony Jones’ 🙏.

A few days ago before the storm hit Perth we got together in Fremantle for Tannin & Cotton workshop, a collaboration between , and myself. We spent the day learning new dyeing skills with beautiful handspun and handwoven cotton scarves, cotton spinning with Jean while we sip soul warming beverage from . I loved seeing everyone’s enthusiasm and listening to the stories shared. I cannot thank everyone enough for making my cup full and weaving new connections. If you’d like to join our next session please let me or Gaelle know as we plan on the next set of workshops soon!

I’m so excited to announce that I will be exhibiting alongside ten Freo based multidisciplinary artists who made Freo their home and place to work.

Please join us for the opening of our brand new show (and see my new largest work to date!) at the Moores Building Arts Space on Friday 5th June 6pm onwards. I will be doing an artist talk on Sunday 14th of June at 10.30am where I will share my process.
