Throwback to my first shoot with the amazing .minjon

I’m working hard to get my abs back to the above status 😝

I’ve always been quite muscular my whole life, which I really hated when I was in my teenage years (hello 1990s when we were told we have to look like Kate Moss…)

But the older I got the more I like my muscular shape and I’ve recently started weight training again, after reading and hearing podcasts about longevity and how we start loosing muscle mass from about 30-35 years old and I’m almost 45!!

I have young kids and by the time I might have grandkids, I’ll be well in my mid 60s or even 70s, so I have the long term goal to stay strong and flexible and maintain my skeleton muscle mass to be able to run around with them one day.. 💪🏻

So for me, exercise (which has always been a big part of my life as I’ve always enjoyed it) is not so much about looking a certain way, but it is a tool to stay healthy for hopefully another 45 years. If it also makes me look strong, that’s an added benefit I won’t say no to.. 😝
