E is for Ed Sheeran..
This was the first live music event at the brand spanking new Optus Stadium back in March 2018. With 60,000 fans!! It’s was a pretty experience to be in the pit in front of that many people and at such an amazing stadium.

How can D not be for Dave Grohl?🤷‍♂️ I was super stoked to have the chance to shoot this show back in Jan 2018. It was right up there in my bucket list and man, it did not disappoint. 🤘
Also featured here is Def Leppard shot at RAC Arena in Nov 2018. Unfortunately, as with quite a few big bands, this was a sound desk shoot. These shoots are great for getting to see the whole stage production but terrible for trying to put your own spin or style on shots as all the photographers are so far back and usually all fixed to the one location. Still, sometimes you get a nice shot or two. 🤘

C is for Cloud Control & Cosmic Kahuna
I believe Cloud Control was opening for The Wombats back in Nov 2018 and I also think this may have been my first time at Red Hill Auditorium, I could be very wrong about that tho. 🤷‍♂️
Cosmic Kahuna had the mighty task of being the opening act for Foo Fighters back in Jan 2018 at NIB Stadium (HBF Park now). It must have been a tough gig for them but they were exceptionally good as I remember. 🤘

B is for Brian May. How could it not be??
I was stoked when I heard I’d be shooting Queen back in February this year. I’ve been a fan of their music for as long as I can remember so to get the opportunity to not only see but photograph them was insane. 🙌
Plus, I got to share the pit with some of the best photographers that I also call my friends. Love gigs like this.

I’ve been nominated by my good friend Linda to take part in the A-Z music challenge of bands that I have photographed. Some will be older, some newer, some never before shared stuff, some you may have seen around. I don’t know yet, all depends if I get stuck on a letter, haha.
Here’s the start. A. Can’t go past one of the all time best shows to shoot and that belongs to Alice Cooper. Gets better every tour. This is from the first time I shot them back in October 2017.
I’ve also added an image of Amy Shark from Feb 2018 at Falls Fest in Fremantle. I’m pretty sure Adore started gaining traction around early 2017 so this was peak time for that song, with so many people singing along with Amy it was great to see.

Super privileged I had the opportunity to photograph Queen at Optus Stadium last night.
They've always been a band that I've listened to from way back when I was little to drunken sing alongs at the end of a night out. It was a real treat to see them live.🤘😎

What an absolute pleasure and a privilege to photograph Queen tonight.
I think they may be the earliest band I remember listening to so to see Brian and Roger perform was a massive thrill. Freddie was one of a kind, irreplaceable, but as far as front men go Adam is right up there with them and was a joy to hear him sing tonight. Top notch!! 🤘

God damn I love shooting shows. There’s always something happening somewhere on the stage, as a photographer it’s hard to know where to be and what to shoot. FOMO is real when you shoot these guys. I’ve loved seeing everyone’s photos from this show., shout outs have to go to .crocker and Duncan (get fu***ng Instagram dude, share your talent with the world) We all got something different and cool. 👊🤘👌
