Yes, I do still exist - if you've been wondering 😂
I've been exceptionally busy lately with work, travel, life... I haven't taken my camera out much, but have a couple of non work trips coming up. Can't wait to get back out in the field.

Here's one from my last trip to Tasmania - a Striated Fieldwren.

What a tricky little bird to shoot! This is a pretty heavy crop, lost detail and the background wasn't all that great. The light was pretty terrible so I opted to shoot into it and drop the curves down.

I recently went for a quick work trip to Broome, WA.
I managed to get out in the afternoon after work which was dreadfully hot and humid. I think i lasted about an hour!

I love the tracks along the main beach in broome, usually lots of little birds there. I didn't see much but did see this mistletoe bird hanging around feeding and perching.
