The most common perception I here is that I only photograph the the skinny ladies who have it all together and winning at life, not true at all (but I love to photograph those babes too!)

You know my who my favourite clients are.....mums who are doing their dang best at keeping it all together. You know her usually by the messy bun and that tired look that mums get, the running around for the kids (that includes the big kid too).

Why? Because I know what she is going though or has been through, its universal mum language. And lets face it being a mum is one the toughest job in the world, there is no user manual for staters but the truth is its one of the most rewarding jobs in the world.

9 times out of 10 she lost a bit of her shine, the past life faded replaced with a new role. And that change is amazing emotional ride but for that short time when she comes to the studio, it's like she finds the little piece of herself again. That right there is priceless, that sparkle she holds, a safe space. Which I encourage and welcome with open arms

Let's face facts, no one rolls out of bed with a full face of make up, perfect hair and manicured nails ready for a photo shoot. Pfft, that's not real! Its messy hair, one of your boob's has wondered off on their own adventure and a kiddo that has called out "mum" at least 3 time before you have even got out of bed. I get it, I'm the same.
