Under the impression that you need to have this bug, fancy, Instagram worthy house to have an in home newborn session?

No you absolutely do not.

Your home is about YOU, not about having the biggest and the “best” (who determines what’s best anyway?!)

I have been to the biggest array of houses from tiny one bedroom apartments to big two story dreamed about houses. I can tell what they all had in common, and if had nothing to do with size (in this case, size doesn’t matter)

They were all filled with live. Like genuinely, the moments that happened within those walls were all anyone cared about during their session.

All you need is a space with some natural light and a couch or bed - it’s really that simple.
There’s ways to make spaces cosy, comforting and naturally you.

So I’ll say it louder for those in the back 📣 YOU DON’T NEED A BUG FANCY HOUSE

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month 🎗️ and this little boy, is a reminder that cancer doesn’t just happen to “someone else”

Every year, an estimated 760 parents are told “your child has cancer”. The words no parent ever wants to hear, and in an instant their whole world comes crashing down.

What follows is a journey of hospital rooms, treatments, tests, medical terminology, uncertainty and unimaginable strength.

This month, I’m using photography to make a small difference.

I’m raising money for childhood cancer through mini sessions - and gifting complimentary sessions back to those families affected by childhood cancer.

A day of mini sessions. It’s not about money. It’s about community, awareness and helping others in a way they can hold on to memories and happy moments.
