Some said yes, some looked confused, and we survived the rejection we were convinced was coming.

Stepping back out of our comfort zone and being met with genuinely lovely people who took part.

The first days pass by in such a blur.
One minute you're counting tiny fingers and toes, staring at them in disbelief that they're finally here, and the next you're wondering where the time has gone.

The little details that feel impossible to forget right now, the way they curl up on your chest, their sleepy stretches, the hospital bracelet wrapped around their tiny wrist, the way your partner looks at them when they think nobody is watching.

These moments don't seem important at the time because you're living them. You're soaking them in between feeds, cuddles and very little sleep.
But before long, they're no longer this tiny.

That's why I love Fresh 48 sessions so much. They aren't about perfect poses or getting everyone looking at the camera. They're about preserving the feeling of these first hours together and the little details that make up one of life's biggest blessings.
The moments that feel ordinary today often become the ones you miss the most tomorrow. 🤍

Not clients. Not models. Not people we knew.

Just everyday people who said yes when two photographers stepped out of their comfort zone and asked for if we could take their photo.

And honestly, that made it even more special. ✨

A camera has a funny way of turning strangers into stories.

Here's a few of the people who trusted two photographers they'd never met before.

What started as a challenge to ask strangers for photos, ended up being a lesson in self confidence and not letting rejection stop us.

It's truly special seeing the moments between families when they're feeling so cozy in their own space.

I walked away from my career in childcare for this.

I was chasing a dream. But not just any dream. 

Not just a business or a camera, but a life that felt more like me.

A life where I could explore my creativity, build something of my own, and wake up excited for what the day held.

The funny thing is, I still wanted to work with kids, but just not in that same career. 

I still wanted to witness growth, connection, and all the little moments that matter.

It just looks different now.

Instead of caring for children in a classroom, I get to document the families who love them most. 

The tiny details, the chaos, the cuddles, the stages that pass far too quickly.

Leaving childcare wasn't about giving something up. I'd been there for a long time, I comforted, cared for and treated kids like my own. But it was time for a change.

It was about following what I knew I needed most and trusting that it would lead me somewhere worth going.

And it did.

Now I wake up every day knowing that I love what I do, and I get to give the world their memories for generations. 

This is me. It's what I was made for - and I'm here to show it all to you.
