This baby girl is so lucky to have such a good big sister 💖 When we were taking photos of just Mum and Dad, big sis was entertaining her with her toys. My heart just melted into a puddle…absolutely precious 🥹

Tonight, I’m bouncing back to this cutie with his amazing hair 😍 Mum said big bro had twice as much!! It’s always surprising when they have a full head of hair as my youngest was legit bald until he was 2 years old 😅

I knew one of the highest priorities for this newborn session was a sibling shot…because Mum’s last newborn photographer gave up and told her that “twins were too hard” 🤯🤯🤯

Look, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. The boys’ energy was through the roof from the moment I stepped inside their home. I liken it to “whack a mole” - as soon as one would sit down, another one would pop up 🤣🤣 (Don’t worry, I didn’t whack any of ‘em 😜😅)

So what’s a photographer to do? Get on their level and CONNECT. They started talking about Super Mario, and it just so happens I’ve been a fan for life 💁‍♀️ So I had a little pep talk with them, and said how we need to team up so we get some beautiful photos for Mum! Working together, our team of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach (yours truly 👑💋) got it done. 💪

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again: Please don’t let your kids be the reason you skip getting professional photos done…they should be the reason you ARE getting photos done! I promise, I can handle them ❤️

Don’t think family sessions are all about the kids - I try and get a couple of photos of just the parents too ❤️ Because honestly, the last time you had decent photos of just the two of you was probably your wedding day, am I right? 😜

Back to these gorgeous people tonight! ❤️ I truly love family sessions - I think I have just as much fun as the kids 😅

This is probably why I don’t mind the editing process. When I’m going through photos, I can’t help but smile or laugh as I relive the session, remembering the jokes, the giggles, and the JOY! And I hope that’s what my photos bring to my clients too 💖

This chill little man was amazing for his first photoshoot! He definitely won the good hair gene lottery 😍😍

And you guessed it - this is in the comfort of my client’s lounge room. You wouldn’t know it though 😉 Mum commented how convenient a Mandurah in-home newborn session was since her older kids could go play in their own surroundings once sibling and family photos were done 😌
