I’m deeply saddened and struggling to believe that Janet is gone. She had a rare gift—the ability to make everyone feel like family. She created an environment of warmth, support, and belonging that made the Moulin Rouge so much more than just a stage—it was a home.
She danced with my mother for years, and from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed and looked after with that same kindness.
I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her and to have witnessed the love and dedication she poured into everything she did.
I’m also so thankful that she got to meet my daughter—three generations connected through the magic of cabaret.
My heart goes out to her family, her friends, and to all my friends who are feeling this loss. Her legacy of strength, passion, and unwavering support will live on in all the lives she touched.
Rest peacefully, Janet. You will always be part of the Moulin Rouge magic, Your love and warmth will forever live on in the hearts of your family and all who knew you
