Filming Robert Hitchcock meant stepping into the story behind his sculpture: the long path, the discipline, the life that shaped the artist long before the piece reached the auction.

We approached the film with the same depth Robert brings to his craft, letting his journey guide the tone, the pace, the emotion.

So we made this film the way Robert makes his work: slowly, deliberately, with more care than anyone will ever see on the surface. That felt like the only fair way to honour it.

Saturday night was one for the books! We took home the Arts & Design Award at the Swan Chambers Business Awards, and our film opened the entire show.

Oceania Film Company was nominated in six categories this year, including New Business, Service Excellence, Excellence in Marketing, and Arts & Design. AJ was also recognised with nominations for Young Professional of the Year and Business Person of the Year.

Huge thanks to the Swan Chamber and City of Swan for celebrating local creatives and businesses.

We're usually the ones behind the camera at these things, so it was nice to be in the spotlight for a change.

Being nominated across six categories, after two nominations last year, is a milestone that means a great deal to us.
