Amazing stay at Coober pedy, almost two weeks well worth the rest, opal fossicking and stunning scenery at the Breakaways for sunset. Met some amazing people including two truckers for morris transport who gave me a lift from Glendambo to coober great experience.
Next stop Uluru.

Straight into the South Australian Outback Stuart hwy, landscape changes so much in the day and im saying that from 13km/hr 🤣.

sometimes wild flowers for kilometers or field if dead trees, who knows how about nothing for hours
then hit an interesting mountain and lake. loving the outback.

What an amazing ride from Yunta to port Augusta, no headwinds finally could make up time even though the ranges seemed easier.

they spelt my name wrong at Peterborough right?

Lots of Stone huts, churches along the way even whacked good muddy spot then walked across cold creek in socks and crocs. 🤣

The 15 magpies before Wilmington i swear raised by the same parents swooping me like crazy 😂.

Second time over Horrocks pass last time was a dust bowl and dry this time so green stunning.

Finally made it into SA some amazing history just sitting out there for nature to reclaim.

Railway water tanks, old abandoned buildings of Olary, a great pub for feed keep warm while wild weather passes, interesting stories.

Manna hill Station and hotel Grumpy lady there must have come in the wrong day. best of all the Big Dice had no idea that existed.

Finally got to see Sturt pea in the wild just south of Broken Hill Yesterday, amazing red colour.

I made it to Broken hill, most of the time it had head winds especially the last 4 days like climbing mountains all day... had some awesome wildlife encounters, stopped on the road for sheep crossing.

After the Macculloch Range scenery changes significantly more open plains less trees.

It was finally awesome to see the barrier range from distance morale was boosted.

Mt hope interesting mining history found some nice specimens of malachite and azurite copper ore awesome steak sandwich.

camped up in the cypress pine forest a few times plenty of wild goats around.
cobar the hard rock mining polymetal mostly copper, great musuem and history. including memorial park to the miners.

off to broken hill next long section between water. 460km total hopefully do it in 8days and get awesome tail winds.

The ride is easier now after Temora, a lot more flat. stunning rural landscape and so green.

A lot of history in the towns that seem to be barely holding on the two Barmedman pubs have not been operating for 10 years, or the old mud brick church 7km north in yiddah lay there for nature to reclaim.

scenery changes a fair bit once you get into lachlan shire the Callitris forest line the road ended up camping amongst them.

lake cargelligo what an amazing bird life there thinking i should have taken the long lens??? the sunset to clear night sky, enjoy the photos. Hopefully the next update in Cobar.

Hi all, just resting up few days, the trip through yass valley and the hill tops was tough. plenty of hills and cold weather including gusty 70km/hr head winds first couple days.

finally long straight easy riding. amazing scenery out here enjoy the photos.
