What an awesome display of talent at the Town of Port Hedland 's celebration of Harmony Week 2026! 😍😍😍

When I came to Hedland... in the last century 🤣, the town rightfully boasted that it was one of the most diverse populations in Australia. Decades on, and that claim still rings true today.

Friday night, many of those cultural communities came together to celebrate their identity and shared space within Hedland's diversity, with music, dance and food.

As always, I'm thankful for the opportunity to cover the event and hope I captured the culmination of hours of practice, concentration and joy that all the performers brought to the stage representing their cultures.

Thank you so much to the organisers, and all the staff that contributed to a wonderful event.
