Friday night was honestly one of those nights I think I’ll remember forever. 13 everyday people got up in front of a room FULL of people and performed dances that, a few months ago, most of us had absolutely no business knowing how to do. 😂

We were nervous. We were excited. We were probably all questioning our life choices backstage.

And then we just fu***ng did it.

Every single dancer absolutely smashed it, and I feel so lucky to have gone through this completely bonkers experience alongside a group of people willing to step so far outside their comfort zones for something much bigger than themselves.

And the BIGGEST part of all of this…
Together, the 13 Stars raised more than $285,000 for Cancer Council.

THAT is what all the rehearsals, fundraising, events, awkward moments, nerves, sore bodies, asking people for money approximately 746 times and general chaos was for.

Tahnee, thank you for taking someone who has absolutely no upper body strength and getting me onto a pole without causing an incident. 😂 You pushed me, backed me and somehow convinced me I could actually do this.

Alex from Dreadlex, THANK YOU for the incredible hair because apparently if I was going to be terrified, I was at least going to look bloody good doing it. 😂

Fran, thank you for the gorgeous makeup and for helping us bring the whole vision to life through your art!

Lauren, the amount of work that goes into pulling something like this together is MASSIVE. Thank you for everything you did behind the scenes to make the whole Stars journey happen.

I went into this wanting to raise money for a cause incredibly close to my heart.

I came out of it having done something that scared the absolute s**t out of me, met some incredible humans and reminded myself that sometimes the best things happen when you say yes first and figure out the rest later.

P.S. The second photo is where it all began. It was one of the very first times anyone asked me to photograph people, back when I didn't quite have the confidence to say yes. A friend, thank you Lisa, had made these beautiful clothes and asked my daughter to model them with her little boy. I fell in love with photographing people that day, and it snowballed into everything this business is now.

AI generated photos don't build trust. Familiar faces do.

Nobody books a physio because of a stock photo, or an AI generated one.

They book because something feels right. Because the person on the screen looks like someone who'll actually listen.

That's why I loved photographing the team at Hayward St Physio. A boutique clinic where care is personal, hands-on, and never rushed - so their photos needed to feel that way too. Real treatment rooms in the most beautifully renovated building, real practitioners, real moments with patients at ease.

When your images show people what it actually feels like to walk through your door, the right clients recognise themselves in them before they've even called.
