Old Farm Sheds among the crop stubble

One of the things I enjoy most about photographing the canola season is finding subjects that tell a story. These old farm sheds caught my eye during our recent Canola Fields Photography Tour, sitting quietly amongst the old crop stubble.

While everyone loves the sweeping landscapes, it's details like these that add character to an image. The weathered timber, rusty iron and years of history provide a great contrast to some of the Bright Canola Fields we were shooting.

We spent some time exploring different angles and compositions before moving on to the next location. It's always amazing what you can find when you slow down and take a closer look.

πŸŒΌπŸ’› There's no missing the canola at this time of year.

Captured during this week's workshop with John Armytage Photography, this image is a six-shot panorama taken at 70mm to really show off the scale of the landscape. The lone tree, rolling paddocks and endless yellow made for one of those scenes that just keeps drawing your eye across the frame.

It was great to spend time in such a beautiful location with a wonderful group of photographers, all enjoying the colours and making the most of the conditions.

πŸŒ… The Superman Barn looking pretty good in the late afternoon light.

Craig Williams Photography and John Armytage Photography spent some time here this week with a great group of photographers, making the most of the beautiful conditions. The stubble lines leading off into trees and a tiny Windmill ( you need glasses to see hehehe :) ) the barn and the soft golden light across the paddock made for a scene that was hard to walk away from.

One of the best parts of these workshops is seeing how differently participants photograph the same location. Everyone comes away with their own unique take on the landscape.

Thanks to everyone who joined us.

Stay tuned for our next Superman Barn tour along with Sunflower Season and let us know if you'd like to join us.

πŸŒ… Not a bad way to spend the morning.

John Armytage Photography and I were at the Superman Barn for sunrise recently with a terrific group of photographers. The sky put on a great show, the light was constantly changing, and there were plenty of smiles behind the cameras.

Thanks to everyone who joined us. It's always great sharing locations like this with people who are just as passionate about photography as we are.

πŸŒΌπŸ“· A great day out in the canola fields this week with John Armytage Photography and a fantastic group of photographers.

The countryside is looking amazing at the moment, and this lone tree surrounded by a sea of yellow was too good to pass up. It's always rewarding to see participants finding their own compositions, sharing ideas, and enjoying the experience of photographing such beautiful locations together.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it such an enjoyable workshop.
