I had a really nice break with family during school holiday and was so glad to be returning to this centre for the new term. So good to be seeing familar faces, both educators and children and was particularily blessed with gorgeous weather!

I photographed an amazing 2 year old who was extremely keen to have her session and listened to my suggestion extremely well. I was beyond impresssed ❤ Educators were super accommodating and organised 💕

My second centre in a week with this privately owned kindergarten. I was pleasantly surprised all the children already knew my name and started to address me as soon as I walked through the door. To put it in context my name is kinda tricky to pronounce and hard to remember 😱 ❤

A 4 year old that I have been photographed in the last 3 years greeted me by name and said "Eetane, I remember you took my photos last year", then all her friends were like "Eetane can you also take my pictures?" I was swarmed with love and attention for sure. 😄🥰

I had a great time photographing the children and love working with the educators as they are very supportive and helpful. ❤

This is one of the 2 centres that I photographed in the space of the week. Both are family owned so very different feel to other centres. Educators were flexible and super accommodating 💕

As we kept to the children routine I was able to spend a bit more time with each child ❤ There are some new equipment added to the yard since last year, I absolutely love the new pirate ship, kids had so much going on adventures, looking for mermaids and dolphins in the ocean and tried to spot me in the binoculars 😆

First time photographing this centre just over a week ago. 💕

I had actually photographed this centre before when it was under a different management, so it was lovely to be back. As I chatted with one of the educators she told me she remembered me from a few years back as I was the only photographer that she met where kids were at ease and happy during photo week. Relaxed children = Relaxed educators ❤️

Highlight - I photographed the cutest and most intelligent 2 year old! She was AMAZING at listening and interacting it totally blew my mind! 🥰

I photographed this centre just a little over a week ago. This is my second year back and one of the biggest centres in my book. Once again I was blessed with very supportive management team and educators. 🥰

Having to photograph over 110 children in a few days was no small feat so I am super grateful with the support and care! I was offered drinks and snacks from the staff room, and at one point was delivered a beautfil latte during my break. ❤❤❤

I photographed at the centre around 2 weeks ago. Blessed with ample playground areas and good weather, the sessions went like a breeze. I am grateful for lots of help from educators from each room and very supportive admin team! ❤

There is a girl that I had been photographing since she was a toddler, going from being super shy to beautiful happy smiles throughout the session. She's in kinder room this year so I always wonder whether I get to photograph her again maybe for another year 💕

This is one of the first centres I photographed after a long lockdown during Covid. It is particularly meaningful and memorable because many parents in VIC had no professional images of their little ones for a couple of years. (Our service weren't allowed in centres during lockdown).

We all know how quick our children grow up and I remember the sheer amount of gratitude emails from parents about the images they received. ❤

I photographed this beautiful privately owned centre just over a week ago, the awesome educators were highly organised in checking with me about timing of sessions for their rooms to make sure kiddos are changed into their outfits ready to go. ❤

A boy in the kinder asked for my name on the first day, when I returned 2 days later he proceeded to address me by name multiple times with accurate pronunciation. I was very impressed as my name isn't easy to remember and pronounced correctly. 💕

Preparing sneak peek always put a smile on my face. As I choose the children's precioius moments that speak emotionally, I hope they speak to the parents too. These fleeting moments especially candid ones, are so precious. 📷

Some of the most precious images are not the perfectly posed ones, they’re the tiny moments of connection, comfort and love between a mother and her child.

Behind every confident little smile is a mum who loved deeply, sacrificed quietly, and showed up every single day.

Motherhood is beautiful, messy, exhausting, magical, and truly worth celebrating.
