Admiring my friend, Fernanda Nassar’s art exhibition with my pink ballerina princess 💕😊

Is the reason I pull all nighters and work when others are chilling. I get to take my daughter to an art exhibition in the middle of the day and support my super talented artist friend.

I see you, moving at a different rhythm to the rest of the world. With hardly any sleep sometimes, stiff back (from working on your couch, erm I mean home office 😜) and invigorated with the freedom of being an entrepreneur.

I was drawn to photography because of the challenge, constant path of learning and meeting people I would otherwise probably not have met.

Now, I show up on both the good and bad days of business because I see people CREATE and BUILD the products and services that light them up. I watch them take their clients on their journey of doing what they love and what they were born to do.

Every spring day my Dad would pick a flower from the garden, wrap it in waterlogged tissue, cover that with cling wrap and present one each to my sister and I to take to school. It’s one of my favourite childhood memories.

I love this tradition so much and plan to do it with my littlies too 💕😊 Happy Spring day everyone!

I'm POP, POP, POPPING the champagne this Friday afternoon! I'm so super grateful to all of you for the wonderful responses and excitement for my brand launch THANK YOU so much! (And by champagne I mean chocolate milk, because, well end of the week treat for my kids + I think I’m getting old and prefer chocolatey goodness)

Here at happy lemon: hours of website designing, fathers day shopping (Australia has fathers day on a different day to the rest of the world) and bundling up to survive the last grips of winter, is on the weekend plan.

I'm bursting with excitement today to announce my new brand name and logo! Because my South African surname is tricky to remember and spell, I've totally rebranded and have loved the opportunity to get lost in Canva land and create, rotate, scheme until I came up with this brand that feels like me and represents my photography. Happy.Fresh.Natural!

I’m in love with my new diary from .k! I thought I’m no longer a paper diary kinda girl, this one was exactly what I needed though to get organised, process and brain dump! Plus it was on a massive sale! I paid the same price of a coffee in Sydney actually 😳 🤷‍♀️

Amy has the kind of courage and love that can only leave you changed and inspired.

In just a couple of weeks she will be Mrs and have a new companion to change lives with!!

In this moment the reality of what we said “bye” to in Cape Town to say “hello” to our lives in Sydney is sobering. Distance, though is absolutely no match for our friendship, and we will be celebrating your new beautiful union on Aussie time 🥂
