This beautiful portrait of a precious baby boy riding a vintage rocking horse may look like a magical moment captured in a single click, but there’s much more to the story.

At our studio, newborn safety always comes first. For images like this, babies are never placed on props in a way that could compromise their safety. Instead, this final artwork is created from multiple photographs taken separately and carefully blended together during the editing process.

Our little rider was photographed safely and comfortably on a cozy beanbag, fully supported throughout the session. The vintage rocking horse was photographed separately, and the images were artistically combined to create this timeless portrait.

The result? A beautiful piece of art that celebrates both the arrival of this gorgeous baby boy and the Lunar Year of the Horse, while ensuring his comfort and safety every step of the way. 🐎✨

A sneak-peak into a recent 3 generation family photography session in our studio 📸
We love welcoming multiple generations in the studio and capture memories they will treasure forever. It was nice to see how they planned their outfits and organised the whole family for the session. They arrived happy, excited and ready for the shoot.
Family pets are also welcome to join in the fun, they are part of the family after all 💕🐶
Keep an eye out for more posts from this photoshoot. We used our favorite dark canvas background as well for different styles of images and even went into the garden to use the flowers and greenery as a background.

✨ WHEN SHOULD YOU BOOK YOUR NEWBORN SESSION? ✨

One of the questions we get asked the most is: “When is the best time to photograph my newborn baby and when should I book the session?” 🥰

For those beautiful, sleepy, curled-up classic newborn portraits, the ideal age is around 10–14 days old 👶💕 During this tiny window, babies are still very sleepy and naturally love being gently posed, allowing us to capture those precious early memories you’ll treasure forever.

So when should you actually BOOK your session? 🤍
We recommend reserving your newborn session towards the end of your second trimester! This gives us plenty of time to secure a date approximately 10–14 days after your due date 📅

And don’t worry — once baby arrives, we’ll always check if any adjustments are needed, although we very rarely have to change the booking 😊

Those first days go by in such a blur… tiny fingers, flaky little toes, sleepy cuddles and all 💫
