💜 I'd love your help 💜

If your child has taken part in the With Grace Project, I would be so grateful if you could share a testimonial about your experience.

For many families, organising professional photography for a child with additional or complex needs can feel overwhelming. There can be worries about whether their child will cooperate, how they'll cope with a new environment, or whether a photographer will understand their needs.

That's exactly why the With Grace Project is different.

There are no rushed sessions, no pressure, and no expectations. We take our time. We wait until everyone feels comfortable. We follow your child's lead and move at their pace, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can simply be themselves.

If you've participated in the project, I'd love to hear what the experience meant to you and your family. Your words may help another parent take that first step and apply for a session.

Applications are still open for the With Grace Project, and I’ll be back behind the camera this week capturing more incredible children and families.

The With Grace Project was created in honour of my daughter Grace and aims to celebrate children living with disability, chronic illness, rare conditions, and additional needs. Through complimentary photography sessions, I hope to give families beautiful images, share their stories, and help raise awareness of the challenges and triumphs that often go unseen.

If you know a child who would be a great fit for the project, or if you’d like to apply for your own family, I’d love to hear from you.

Every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and remembered exactly as they are. ❤️

To apply, send me a message or complete the application form via the link in bio. #

The Local Business Awards - Recognising and celebrating the best in Local Businesses

A little behind-the-scenes look at what a location shoot really feels like.

Photography is so much more than pressing a shutter. It's finding the light, working with the environment, adjusting on the fly, building connection, and creating space for people to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

This footage was captured while I was shooting in Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. While the final images often look effortless, there's so much happening behind the scenes to bring them to life.

Whether I'm photographing in Paris, Ireland, or here at home in Australia, my approach is always the same: creating authentic, beautiful portraits that tell a story.

I love sharing these little glimpses into the process because photography isn't just about the finished image - it's about the experience, the moments, and the memories created along the way.

Have you ever wondered what goes on during a professional photoshoot?

Thoughts for the day - You're going to look back on this season and feel it in your chest. Not because everything was perfect. Not because the kids were easy or the days were long enough. But because this was the version of your family that existed right now, and it mattered more than it felt like it did at the time. That's why I do this. Not to create something polished. To create something true.

Here's something I've noticed in nearly every session: the best photos don't happen in the planned moments. They happen when a kid says something that makes a parent laugh mid-sentence. When someone stops trying to stand correctly and just... stands. When the pressure lifts and the real stuff comes through. Posing only works when people feel comfortable. When they don't, it shows. So before I direct anything, I just slow down, chat, and let the family find their footing in the space whether thats in studio or on location. That shift - from tense to settled - is one of my favourite parts of this work. And it's where the images worth keeping tend to come from.

If you've been sitting on the idea of a family session and you are worried how everyone will be, how will we pose?, I'd love to hear from you.
