And finally- Rome. I could visit Rome over and over and over again and not get sick of it. Yes it’s busy and crowded and chaotic. But I love it. Thanks for following along! Hit me up if you need a travel photographer to tag along with you on your next adventure 😉

Rome, Italy.

The least touristy place we visited. There was a castle right in the center of the city. And it has a filled moat! Ferrara has lots of medieval streets to explore and was just very chilled and peaceful. It also was home to the best gelato I tried in the three weeks I was in Italy!

Ferrara, Emelia-Romagana

Burano 🩷 I could have taken photos of every single inch of this island! The most fun, character filled place.

I adore Venice. I know some people don’t enjoy it for various reasons but I love it. We stayed in a pretty old apartment just over a little bridge and next to the most gorgeous bookstore. It was a quiet little corner of Venice but then within a one minute walk, we were back in the thick of it.

Venice, Veneto.

Ugh. Tuscany. I would go back there in a heartbeat right this second!!! We only had two days in Siena and it wasn’t nearly enough. I need to go back asap. Such a vibrant, beautiful and exciting place. The last slide is a video of a bucks party (the groom is in the purple wig). Well worth the watch!

Siena, Tuscany

These photos are from a day trip to Assisi. Assisi is considered one of the holiest sites in Europe. Here we visited the Basilica of St Francis. Note to self if ever visiting Assisi- if you follow the cobblestone streets up, then up, then up some more and then when you think you can’t go up anymore, keep going up further- you’ll find the most spectacular medieval castle with one of the best views I’ve ever seen in my life.

Assisi, Umbria

I literally cannot express in words, how beautiful this town is. Every corner that you turn, is just filled with flowers and colour. It’s also the cleanest place I’ve ever visited (in the world!). It’s very small and easy to walk around in just a couple of hours. But SO worth it.

Spello, Umbria

Last year, my mum and I traveled to Italy to celebrate my 40th birthday. Since I’m feeling depressed about not being in Italy this year (and about turning 40), I thought I would share some of my favourite photos I took while we were away. First up- Orvieto, Umbria.

There’s something extra special about photographing newborns right where life is actually happening 🤍

In your own home, there’s no rushing, no packing the car, no unfamiliar spaces. Just soft light, tiny stretches, feeding breaks, siblings popping in and out, and all those in-between moments you’ll want to remember but never think to ask for.

I’ve been a Brisbane newborn photographer for over 10 years, and in-home sessions will always have my heart. They tell your baby’s story honestly- the nursery you lovingly set up, the couch you’ll spend countless hours on, the calm (or beautiful chaos) of those first weeks.

Because one day, it won’t just be about how small they were…
It’ll be about where it all began
