Still working through images from recent shoot with José Da Cruz 💪🏼. This one was shot on film using my Hasselblad XPan on Ilford. I’ve always been fascinated by retro photo styles and I’ve played with Adobe Photoshop to replicate the old hand colouring technique. Thanks to Rewind Photo Lab for processing and scanning.

My recent pic of Kris Unwin combining old and new technology.

Centre panel was shot on my Hasselblad XPan 35mm panoramic camera on film (Ilford HP5). To give some extra space and create this epic vibe, I extended the sides using Photoshop’s AI generative fill.

Photographic pals - does anyone have an experience and recommendations with the LOMOGRAPHY PETZVAL lenses? After seeing the movie POOR THINGS yesterday I WANT one. Love that effect and I'd like to explore it for shooting portraits. Keen to hear any thoughts if you've used one. There seems to be 85mm and 55mm varieties.

I’m very sad to hear that Max Riebl passed away today at age 31. We at the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra first met him when he was in year 12 and he started singing with the Brandenburg Choir and later as a soloist.

He was a beautiful boy and then a beautiful man, who sang like an angel and went on to set Australian bench press records 💪🏼.

It was a privilege to know him, and work with him as a publicist, and photograph him over his career (these pics were taken in 2013 for Brandenburg Christmas concerts).

He leaves behind a young family who he adored. He also leaves behind many memories of a great, humble and charismatic man with a wonderful musical gift.
