When Craig first reached out, he told me he’d spent 35 years weight training and was preparing to get his body fat down to a level he’d only dreamed of seeing. At 50 years old, he wanted to create something he’d never done before, a set of images that celebrated decades of dedication and hard work.
My work is usually centred around women, and the female gaze, so stepping into a masculine and more athletic style was something completely different for me.
What I loved most wasn’t just the photos, it was the trust. Craig came in with a vision, trusted me to bring it to life, and together we created something that fit the brief
A few days later, he sent me a message saying:
“You did make the whole experience more comfortable… I appreciate it.”
I haven’t just got my ladies, I’ve also got the gentleman! Everyone deserves to feel comfy and seen!
Whether you’re stepping in front of my camera in lingerie, jeans, a wedding veil, or after 35 years of commitment to a fitness goal, my job is the same: to create a space where you feel comfortable, confident, and proud of the story you’re telling.
