a short doco we produced last year for the IMAN Wardingarri Aboriginal Corporation that showcases the opening of their permanent artifacts display at the Great Artesian Basin Centre at the Miles Historical Village Museum. What an amazing project to be invloved in. Thanks To Michael Green (GM) and the IMAN people for inviting me along to capture this special occasion. a special day yesterday - watching our 10 min short doco that we produced for Iman Wardingarri Aboriginal Corporation with their board of Directors & some staff at Coco Brew. The doco was about their Naidoc Day celebration at Taroom last year (soon to be released). Thanks to Michael Green (GM) & the board of Directors at Iman for inviting me to lunch!

Earlier in the year I travelled to Vietnam (Hanoi & Vung Tau) & was lucky enough to undertake a large street photography project (over 3 weeks). The aim was to simply walk the streets & photograph anything that caught my eye. I had done this several times before in Vietnam but this time I was using a new camera (medium format Fujifilm GFX camera) & decided to go all black & white. Also, the style I embraced was going to be very simple & "graphic", with a greater use of post processing. I hadn't used my editing software to this degree ever before, so I didn't really know what I was going to end up with until I got home & started experimenting. Despite a few frustrating days in front of the computer trying endless combinations of various techniques, I finally managed to find a system & a "look" that was perfect for this project. It was an amazing few weeks in Vietnam & I am so grateful for this opportunity & for the people who both willingly & not so willingly agreed to pose in my pictures - and also to my amazing nephew P**c Dang for escorting me around on a few of the days to help translate.
