There are retail stores… and then there’s Warrahbinya MAIN. 🌸✨

Tiny shop, huge heart, big plans. Colour, blooms from their flower farm, gorgeous homewares — every corner makes your eye stop, rest on something beautiful and your soul smile. Styling done right, not beige, not same same.

Spent an hour or so on Monday with Athina capturing magic, chatting about photography + their plans for the year ahead, and honestly? Could have stayed all day. 🌿

Athina’s vibe after seeing a sneaky-ish peek from our time together: she is going right ahead in 2026 and surrounding herself with incredible talent, gorgeous people, and creativity all year long. Basically my dream client energy.

Meet Little Mau: the comeback king 👑🐱slaying FIP one day at a time.

From 2.7kg at the time of his FIP diagnosis to a chunky, glorious 5.7kg… this tiny tiger has thrived his way through 84 days of treatment and is now cruising through his 84 days of observation like the sassy survivor he is.

Quick science moment: FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) is a serious viral disease that used to be considered a death sentence — but with the right treatment and support, cats are now beating it. 💛

And Little Mau is living proof.
He’s funny, loyal, obsessed with his food, protective of “his” space… and has very limited tolerance for pats. (He prefers to bite the hand that feeds him. And anyone too slow to share snacks. Consider yourself warned. 😼)

Huge purrs to the incredible team at FIP Paws of Hope, who support so many cats & their families through treatment, and to .vet for taking such good care of our little ‘ornch’ gremlin.

Here’s to Little Mau — our tiny fighter with the big attitude. 💛🐾

Behind the Lens: Story-Driven Restaurant Photography

I’ve been working with the crew at Grace Bar & Eatery in Rutherglen since long before Grace even existed — back in the Milkin days, when Grace was just an idea brewing...a beautiful dream. From the very beginning, I knew Eck + Cheffo would create something really special. And I wasn’t wrong.

Over the years, our photography journey has followed their evolution — capturing the food, the cocktails, the wines, the spaces, the staff, the energy, the light, the quiet moments — and most importantly, the soul of the business.

Grace isn’t just a restaurant and bar — it’s a vibrant, welcoming space built on heart, hospitality, and hard work. It is great food, fabulous wine and warm hospitality. It’s also one of the standouts in the Rutherglen renaissance of recent years, and documenting this story as it unfolds has been one of my greatest joys.

What makes this kind of long-term, story-driven photography work? It’s not just about snapping pretty pictures and churning out content.

It’s about:
– A good brief and honest conversations 
– Knowing the rhythms of service and season 
– Celebrating the details that matter

✨ 𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙐 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 ✨

Our new winter menu is here to warm things up in all the right ways. From the comfort of braised duck ragu to crisp prosciutto croquettes, it’s a season for bold flavours and slow moments.

The Dutch cream potato gnocchi is pure winter comfort, and a first for us. We’ve always had gnocchi on the menu, but never actually made with potato 🤔 About time, really!

The king prawn risotto brings just the right kick with a touch of harissa, and the free-range pork belly with chestnut purée + bacon jam is everything you want when it’s too cold to function. And don’t miss the corned wagyu. Buttery soft, with horseradish cream and coral mushrooms.

And we have to talk about the brûléed croissant pudding - sweet, toasty, and dressed in local quince 🤤

A big day out at Grace Bar & Eatery today! 💥 We’ve been creating together since 2020-ish and every time I step into this space, I’m reminded how much I love working with this dynamic duo.

Today’s creative session was a full-on flavour fest — inside, outside, drinks, food, kitchen action and alllll the good vibes for a juicy gallery refresh. 🍹🍽️✨

Hold on to your hats — because when Tim’s in the kitchen at the Star Hotel in Bright, things move fast! 😅🔥 Always such a blast working with the crew at — the vibes are high, the food is damn good, and the plates fly out with serious style.
Gave my new lighting set up a solid run for this menu update session and I’m so happy with how it turned out ✨ Big thanks to my ace hand model and those cute furry friends, reminding everyone that this venue is as dog-friendly as they come 🐾💛
Bright was putting on a show — leaves turning, crisp air, and that golden autumn magic. If you’re heading over that way, make sure you stop in and say hey to the crew at the Star Hotel— and grab a bite while you’re at it. The food is good! You won’t regret it!

Spent some time at Warrahbinya on Main yesterday — a truly beautiful retail space in the heart of Rutherglen. Every piece in the store is thoughtfully curated by Athina, whose creative energy flows through every corner. From handmade homewares to blooms grown on her flower farm in Tolmie near Mansfield, it’s a place filled with things to look at, to hold, and to love.

If you’re in Rutherglen, this space is well worth a visit — slow, calming, and full of beautiful details.

Travel photography is fascinating; it’s the rare chance to be fully immersed—exploring, watching, waiting, observing. There’s a calmness and stillness in those moments when you are in creative flow. I choose to take photos when I see things that are interesting to me—light, details, people, connection, colour, nature. Life moves fast, but these moments let me slow down.

I keep coming back to this body of work unsure what to do with it, but grateful for the privilege of this adventure and the chance to see the world this way.

🔥BBQ Wines & Weekend Vibes🍷

Good wine, good food, and a little charcoal grilling—what more could you need for a perfect weekend? The little BBQ was a bit of fun to crank up (charcoal grilling is definitely a learning curve!), but the relaxed setting and its contemporary design really add to the story of a young, vibrant red by made to be enjoyed next to a hot plate with friends.

A lot of thought goes into bringing together the right colours, textures, and elements to set the tone and personality of a brand—and this creative session was all about capturing great wine, good food and laid-back, sun-soaked energy. The client suggested a BBQ in the background and with a little digging I found this stylish gem in a super retro burnt orange!!!!

Golden light, crisp air, and a vineyard that’s rewriting the rulebook.

Spent the morning at Centare Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, where autumn is just starting to whisper through the vines, the fruit is ripening (and the birds are on to it!), the light is just right, and there’s a quiet kind of magic in the air. But beyond the beauty, this place is pushing boundaries.

Imagine a vineyard where the vines stand shoulder to shoulder, packed in tight—one metre row width, one metre vine spacing—four to five times more vines than your typical Aussie block. It’s precision, it’s intensity, and it’s all in pursuit of something extraordinary: elevating Yarra Valley Cabernet blends to new heights. 🍷

Walking through the rows, you can feel the energy of something different, something ambitious. This is no ordinary vineyard—it’s a bold experiment, a challenge to tradition, and I can’t wait to see (and taste) what’s to come.
