Along the Midland Hwy to Mansfield Victoria

On a day trip While visiting Mansfield and driving along the Midland Hwy between Mansfield and Barjarg, a couple of spots stood out to my photographer eye, these 2 areas were lovely peaceful and a pleasure to look at.

The homestead billabong with a majestic tree in the middle with a few birds roosting and in particular a Spoonbill taking centre place.

The other a dried up waterway ravine on Nillahcootie Dam with a few dead trees and sheep grazing, Both stand outs along the road.

Along the Euroa-Mansfield rd

Gooram falls is just a lovely small falls great for a bush walking and sightseeing road trip.

These photos were taken while raining, I first stopped into Gooram falls along the Euroa-Mansfield Rd and with umbrella in one arm and camera in the other walking very carefully took a few shots before heading back to van.
A short drive down the road I came upon the devastation that the bush fires in January 2026 in that area had reaped but as usual Mother Nature has pushed back with new foliage which is a wonder to see.
