I am based just south of Devonport and I am available to service clients in a variety of areas including Burnie, Ulverstone, Devonport, Sheffield, Deloraine and Launceston. There are so many incredible locations along the cascading Liffey River to explore. and I had a blast here a few weeks ago. We spent the better part of the day walking up and down the river capturing the incredible waterfalls and forest as the light slowly changed.

I have visited Cradle Mountain many times over the last 10 years, but I’ve never timed it just right for a good dumping of snow. That all changed last Thursday morning as we woke to blizzard like conditions that had completely transformed the landscape into a frozen wonderland. Almost like Autumn decided to take the day off 😂

Needless to say, Cherryandjun Photography and I spent the rest of the day trying to capture as much of this icy, cotton candy landscape as possible.

From a complete white out with snow, to it all being melted the following day - one big benefit though, the melt had created some great flow down from Crater Falls 😀

It took a bit of waiting for the sun to peep through, but I love how it illuminates the mist blowing off the water.

Really looking forward to taking some time off in a week to go exploring and photographing in some of my favourite Tassie locations. My friend from Queensland is coming down to join me and hopefully we will get some beautiful weather to capture some waterfalls and autumn colour around the north west of Tasmania.

I spent the long weekend re-visiting Mount Field National Park in Tasmania’s south west. The last time I was here was winter 2018. It’s much dryer here in the summer and the water flow is a lot lower, but it’s still an incredible area to explore. Especially up around the ski fields above Lake Dobson.
