We have three beautiful children, love a good coffee and documenting weddings is what makes us tick! Our passion is to document a story - to capture the emotion and feelings that make a wedding day epic - not stopping the flow of your day to pose or ask you to say cheese…. We believe it's about capturing those moments you were in the middle of and moments you never even saw so that you can look ba

ck on the days, months and years later and be reminded of what that day was. Get in touch, and let’s chat :)

There’s nothing wrong with traditional wedding photos. They’re just not for everyone.

I photograph weddings with movement, intention, and angles that feel considered, not copied.

If that resonates, send me your date and location. And I’ll let you know if I’m available 🙌🏼

If you’re over the stiff, posey wedding photos that make you ick inside, but still want photos that feel alive and actually like you?

You just found your wedding photographer.

DM me your wedding date to see if I’m free. Let’s make something real 🙌🏼

Shona & Lachlan invited me into a beautiful afternoon that felt like it had its own heartbeat. Slow, present, and deeply intimate.

They got married at the incredible , a place that looks like it fell out of a Jane Austen novel, tucked away in Robertson in the Southern Highlands. It’s so uniquely still, it feels like time presses pause for you.

After the ceremony, we wandered the grounds and made these frames to hold onto it all.

Here are a few that stayed with me.

If the thought of reading your vows in front of a crowd makes you uneasy, you don’t have to. You can keep those words just between the two of you and share private vows instead.

I’ve photographed couples doing this during a first look or during portraits. And the cool thing is, when you look back on those photos later, you won’t just see yourselves standing there. You’ll remember exactly how it felt to speak those words without the big crowd watching.

Have you ever hovered over a photo, ready to delete it… then something makes you stop? It happens to me more than you’d think. And honestly, those frames have taught me a lot about voice.

Culling isn’t just admin. It’s a key part of the creative workflow.

Emily + Tommy. Two creatives who told me from the start: “We love artful images, without the overly sanitised wedding photography we have seen previously”

That line couldn’t have fit my approach better. Leaning into artistry and photojournalism. Candid moments fused with frames that are subtly directed.

Here are a few of my favourites: the laughter, energy and small cultural details that made the day theirs. Plus a little extra magic from the aisles of .

Wind.

The untameable force we try to control, smooth over, pretend it didn’t show up, and to be honest… I actually like it.

It brings movement and energy (which is what I’m always looking for) a bit of beautiful chaos that makes the photos feel alive and sometimes even a little abstract goodness 🤌🏼 I like it because you can’t plan for it. And you definitely can’t pose it.

Nayanika and Seth leaned into it on their wedding day. They let the wind do its thing. Let themselves be caught in the middle of it, and I love that they did.

So here’s to the wind 🥂
Uninvited. Unpredictable. Harnessing it for art.

Some of my favourite frames from Tamara + Pat’s wedding last month at . They pulled off one of the most memorable first dances I’ve ever seen. It was like something out of a film.

You’ll see what I mean a few frames in.

People often ask if I’m a completely “hands-off” wedding photographer chasing pure candids, or if I direct. It’s always both. I feel that weddings are too layered for just one approach. My best work lives in the space between the two. Sometimes I step back and let the moment unfold. Sometimes I step in, because the couple is looking at me waiting for a lead. Both serve the art when done with intention.

Effortless images don’t just happen, they’re created through vision and intention. That’s not faking it. That’s the craft.

Time for a little (re)intro, with some new snaps courtesy of my very patient wife .olguin (we laughed through 80% of them, so please enjoy the 20% where I’m semi-professional).

I’m Alejandro, and if you’re new here (or quietly lurking), hi 👋🏼 glad you’ve stumbled onto my insta.

I’m not a fan of cookie-cutter wedding shots and most couples will tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera. Which is cute. And also my favourite challenge. At a wedding you’ll likely see me half-crouched in some questionable position, trying to catch a different angle or that sliver of light that turns a good photo into one you feel in your chest.

I don’t choreograph your wedding like it’s a magazine shoot. But I will give you a few tips on how to feel like yourself when there’s a camera pointed at you. (Was reminded of that feeling during these shots lol.) And if the light’s doing something ridiculous behind you, I will very politely lose my mind and adjust you accordingly.

If you want wedding photos that feel like you, but also like something you’d frame huge and stare at for years, then yeah. We’re probably a good match.

And if you’ve read this far (and you’re getting married), you clearly care about good photos or just curiously reading on, so I have a little something for you: Comment ‘guide me’ and I’ll send you my exclusive posing guide. It’s not what you think. It’s better.
