I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to deliver the Creative Arts Storytelling (CAS) program at SAM (Shepparton Art Museum)—a youth-led initiative that encourages creativity and self-expression through art and storytelling.

After three weeks of mentorship with Bryony Large, today marks Week 1 of my 5-week journey delivering CAS to the attendees of OLLY (Opportunities and Life Links for Youth). Developed by Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project in partnership with GOTAFE, OLLY is a welcoming space where young people can connect, learn, and access vital support services.

I’m so lucky to be able to bring my passion for photography and videography into this program, teaching students the power of storytelling through digital media.
This has definitely been a highlight of my year, and I have been so lucky to be considered to deliver a program about something I am passionate about, and even better, sharing it with others. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
