Hello Sailor! Another member of the blue army gracing our shores this summer. The Velella Velella, or by the wind sailors, look like a tiny shard of glass. This one was about the size of my thumb nail. Not as stingy as the blue jerks but also very photogenic.

Blue button and violet snail. Both hang around the blue jerks and are often washed up together. The snail will feast on the blue jerks and blue buttons, so they are good to have around.
