Clear Light Photography Photography is my passion, let me show you what passion can create. Photography is my passion. My name is Clare which means “clear and bright”.

This inspired the name of my business, Clear Light Photography. I have been doing family portrait sessions since the beginning of 2014. Since then I have expanded that to include many other areas of photography. I often photograph local events, child and family portraiture and weddings. I also do maternity shoots, lifestyle newborn photography, formal photos, couple sessions, pet photography, busi

ness photos, head shots and more. I take photos because I enjoy it and I get so much satisfaction out of a beautiful photo. I like to capture the smile and light in the eyes of children. I love to freeze a moment of time so it can be kept forever. I hope to continue to bring people joy by capturing beautiful moments for many more years to come. I live in Singleton in the beautiful Hunter Valley of NSW Australia. So most of the shoots I do are fairly local. I am willing to travel to locations around 3 hours away, though that adds a large amount of travel cost to a session. For the Singleton locals who love honey, you should visit CoWild which has a roadside stall along Retreat Road. We stocked up on some more of their honey recently and I of course took the opportunity to take some photos.. or more make Zach take photos of our little honey hunting family outing. Little Feather also brought her camera along to take photos too. I have included her shot at the end.

I so enjoyed the sunshine and colours and love that Zach and I got to capture at this wedding. It's also extra fun to be able to have Zach as a second shooter. There were certainly things I love about this couples wedding and story, particularly that they were high school sweethearts just like Zach and I and I also photographed the brides mothers wedding about eight years ago!

Its been a month of weddings for me! One very traditional, one on a farm and another at the beach. I usually only have a few weddings to photograph each year and this year three of them were in the same two weeks.

The Easter holidays are a favourite time to get married I guess! That was our original plan too. Who else out there has just had their wedding anniversary?

Just a reminder I am always looking for models for all kinds of photos. If you are willing to sign a model release form and have some hobby or sport or even just your everyday life you would like photos of, I would love to capture it. This can be a great way to get free images and for some topics I am even willing to pay my models as well as provide photos. All my normal shoots can have a discount applied for modelling as well.

Shoot me a message if you have any interest in modelling! I want real authentic Aussie people so it's something anyone can have a go at!

I'd especially love to do some shoots with school children, or some sports related content or images showing people in high-vis workwear.

I was actually photographing a wedding last week in between taking these. Wednesdays are exciting in our house because that's the day I pick up my fresh fruit and veggies from the Singleton Heights - Bower Pde Box Divvy hub. This week I alternated between helping pack by finding and passing boxes.... or got in they way as I stole boxes for photos. But the results were worth it! (maybe not entirely worth how sore my legs are now though) But if you want fruit and veg that often tastes better and definitely lasts longer than you get from the shops, Box Divvy is the go!
