If you don’t like long posts, here’s the short version: Photography by Lauren Witt is closed indefinitely. Thank you to everyone I have met over the years and I wish everyone the brightest and best 2023.

The final day of 2022 has come and I’m sure everyone is ready to gear up for the wonder and promise a new year brings. It feels a little strange to think my photography season has come to an end but for now it is over and out from me. For something that was just a fun hobby, a little creative outlet from Mum life and a way to push my introvert self out to try new things it sure grew into something way more than I imagined. There has been many emotions from tears shed over the failures, to the tears of joy watching love blossom, babies be born and hearing just a small snapshot of people’s stories!

What the next season looks like is always a little uncertain, I have many ideas and possibilities going through my head. Yet I can't go past how grateful I am for everyone I have met on this journey. The times I have ventured out to capture someone only for them to inspire and encourage me. Don't ever stop taking pictures whether they be on your phone or professional for as Dr Seuss said, You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

So from my little crazy family to yours I wish you the most amazing 2023, that every challenge may inspire you and every win give you the courage to keep pushing hard to achieve your goals. Life is hard but it is also incredibly beautiful.

Wherever we all end up in 2023 I send you all the love ❤️

When even the local ducks want in on the action with Jeanine and her two gorgeous kiddos! Driving over to this location we took all the cool backroads to avoid congestion and a traffic accident on the motorway but we got to see so many cool sights and even might have driven past my dream house/shed idea. Pretty cool what you find when you're not even looking.

It's so funny when you meet people and end up finding out you have a lot in common. We've had to postpone this session due to the weather but was well worth the wait. Emily and Jacob are absolutely nailing the parenting gig with their three beautiful kids! Emily Ruigrok thanks for putting up with me for the afternoon!

Waiting is hard. Whether it's waiting for a baby or waiting for your photos but it's always worth it. This gorgeous family are about to add a precious little girl to the family. How exciting is that, she's going to be loved beyond words, protected and probably kept humble by her big brothers.

Do you actually read the captions? There's so much to scroll through these days and I may have been stuck with my kids in a caravan in the middle of no where for a little too long so now I'm startingto over analyse it. Either way I started trying to do a "about me" video and intro, yet the only footage I have of myself is my strange dance moves and I'm not sure you want to see those or as I self reflect maybe I'm not as normal as I like to think, anyone want to confirm or deny? 🤣

How good is it when you randomly meet other travelling families, like us they are also working along the road, spending some time in Berri for the Almond harvest. Hope and Mitch have been on the road much longer than us intending to begin travelling in March 2020 they had to adjust to the sudden covid craziness instead leaving a few months later. Now they have a little side trip to add the newest member to the travelling band, returning to Qld to welcome bub before seeing where the road takes them next.
