So good to see the little guys around the gardens again this Summer. One of Australia's many native bee species, and certainly one of the more colourful ones, they are very quick and live a solitary life.

Spotted Pardalote Pair
Couldn't believe we stumbled upon these two Spotted Pardalotes as they were digging their burrow for nesting.
We've never seen this before, and all we had was our phones. What a treat to see!

The Outsider
You know, sometimes being an outsider is just the best place to shine. 🌞

Paying attention to your surroundings and the small things around you can often yield surprising results. Hundreds of people just walked on past and were completely unaware of these tiny creatures.

We're all so busy in our own little worlds that we forget to stop, take a breath, and experience all the wonders right under our noses.

Wonderful Waterfalls
A spur of the moment trip to Steavenson's Falls in Marysville today led to some fun playing with ND filters and enjoying time in nature.

Along with a wrong turn, leading to a long drive on a dirt road (The Acheron Way) had us bumping along slowly through some of the most beautiful Mountain Ash forests, some prehistoric looking temperate rainforest, and spotting 4 Lyrebirds!

Some yummy treats for morning tea at the Marysville Bakery, and lunch at the pub 😋 definitely added to a great day out with my adventure buddy
