There's something so special about welcoming families back into my studio.

Watching families grow and being trusted to capture these precious milestones time and time again is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I photographed Isaacs newborn photos and it was lovely to see how much he adores his new baby brother and watch this beautiful family grow.

🌿 Updates 🌿

We have just returned from Perth after our daughter went down for taekwondo states and to celebrate her turning 10!
She won a Gold medal for her individual poomsae and a silver medal with a team.

I've spent the morning attending to admin and all messages/enquires have been responded to. I am now catching up with editing.

Studio updates - I have ordered a new custom lounge which should be hopefully be finished by mid September arriving early October 🀞This will be for Maternity, newborn and family sessions.
New studio props are also arriving which is exciting.

πŸŽ„Family Christmas minis - are starting to be organised and most likely held in November.

πŸŽ… Santa sessions - I have been advised he will be coming again this year πŸ™Œ We are trying to organise dates as he has a fair distance to travel but I will of course keep you updated once we know when this will be happening.

We celebrated Harrison's first birthday with the sweetest cake smash in studio.

This set up requested was intentionally simple! all white, no props, no distractions just a clean, timeless backdrop that allowed Harrison to be entire focus.

Harrison absolutely adores his big brother Oliver, and those moments together were so special to capture.

Last month I took the time to refresh my First Aid & CPR certification with Emily at Prime First Aid and Training β€” and honestly, it’s something I never take for granted.

As a newborn, maternity, family, and cake smash photographer, I’m often trusted with the most precious little people in your lives. It’s a responsibility I carry with so much care. Knowing I’m trained and up to date in First Aid and CPR gives me confidence that I can respond quickly and calmly if ever needed.

But it also hits differently as a mum. You never know when something could happen at home, or out and about and having those skills could make all the difference.

It’s one of those things you hope you’ll never need… but you’re incredibly grateful to have.
