Some photographs are made for today.
Some are made for generations.
There is something about the old portraits we inherit that I have always loved.
The slightly faded photograph of a great-grandmother as a young girl. A grandfather we never had the chance to meet. A child whose name we know, even though we can only imagine what their little voice sounded like.
We look at these photographs and wonder.
Which features did they inherit? Who do they remind us of? Were they always like that? What were they like as a child?
And somehow, through a single portrait, we feel connected to someone who lived long before us.
This is the feeling behind my 𝓗𝓮𝓲𝓻𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓶 𝓟𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓲𝓽𝓼 .
A quiet, timeless portrait of your child — not distracted by props or elaborate sets, but simply capturing them. Their eyes. Their expression. Their little mannerisms. The person they are becoming.
Because one day, these will be the photographs they look back at.
The ones their children may hold in their hands and ask, “Is that you, Mum?”
Or “Did I look like you when you were little?”
And I think there is something incredibly beautiful about creating photographs with that future in mind.
So many of you have asked, and so from now on, I’ll be offering 𝓗𝓮𝓲𝓻𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓶 𝓟𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓲𝓽𝓼 periodically as dedicated mini sessions, making them simple and accessible for families who would love to preserve this little piece of their child’s story.
Because childhood passes.
But a portrait can stay.
With all the love
Aga 🤎
