Your permission slip has arrived✨

EXPIRY date: 1 month from today.

Use it however you need.

Need permission to finally book the branding shoot? Use it.
Need permission to show your face online more? Use it.

Need permission to launch the thing, change direction, raise your prices, post the photo, or simply take up space? Use it.

Stick it on your desk. Save this post. Send it to a friend. Screenshot it. Come back to it when you’re stuck. Get annoyed at it because it keeps reminding you to take the next step. Think about it at midnight when the ideas won’t stop.

Just don’t forget about it.

Because the only thing this permission slip isn’t for… is waiting.

So, tell me…what are you using yours for? 🤎

I am so excited to be back with Claire this weekend for her 2nd annual branding session for Claire Abbott | Pole Competition Coach 💪

I still remember our very first shoot together, she had the vision….it just needed imagery that matched it 📸 and that’s where I came in 😎👌

Over the past year, it’s been so rewarding watching her brand grow, evolve, and come to life. Seeing her consistently show up with professional content has made such a difference, and now we’re back to do it all again.

This is one of my favourite parts about working with returning clients.

We’re never starting from scratch.

Last year, we created the foundation. We discovered what worked, built a strong image library and visual consistency for her brand.

This year, we’re building on that. Refining. Elevating. Creating content that reflects where her business is going next, not where it was 12 months ago 🎉

It’s a fun balance between promoting sustainable content, but also keeping it fresh ✨ I always encourage at least 1 annual branding sessions for your business because your business grows just like you do , your offers evolve, and your imagery should grow with you 🙌

Thank you for trusting me with your brand again, Claire. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we create in between this weekends shenanigans 😂😂

(P.S. Claire… I hope you don’t mind overused pole routine soundtrack for this post 😂but I just had to pick something with Pony 😉 for nostalgic purposes)

But how do you do it?

On minimal sleep with a dash on insanity 🤣🙃 most of the time 😎

But ask me WHY I do it?

Because life’s too short to not live it to your full potential 🥂

Business idea 💡 photoshoot plans, new campaigns, inspiring event headliners, a new niche - it never stops 😂

I may be a master of none, but I am learning to navigate overwhelm, indecision and guilt on a regular basis as a creative and if this is ever something you struggle with too, send me a DM and we can navigate it together 🫶🏼✨ because you are never alone

In a world full of busy, be the reminder to slow down.

You can do more, with less. Not every image in your brand needs to be filled with products, people, or perfectly styled details.

Sometimes, the most powerful photos are the ones that give your audience time to take a breath.

Empty space isn’t empty, it’s intentional. You can add text, or simply give it space it demands.

These are the underrated images every brand needs✨ ✨Quiet corners
✨Soft light
✨Negative space
✨Moments of stillness.

They’re the photos that elevate your feed, support your storytelling, and make your brand feel calm, considered, and intentional.

Save this for your next brand shoot if you want imagery that feels as good as it looks 📍

So how can six people book the exact same branding session… and walk away with six completely different galleries?

Because branding photography has never been about my vibe…

It’s about yours.

Every person has a different story, a different energy, a different purpose. My job isn’t to fit you into a style, it’s to uncover the one that’s already yours.

That’s where my love for photography began.

Not with cameras or perfect lighting, but with people. I’ve always been fascinated by what makes someone them. The little moments, the personality, the confidence that appears when someone feels seen.

Over the years, I’ve realised I have a knack for capturing that.

Not just how you look, but who you are.

So whether your brand is bold, soft, playful, luxurious, creative, or somewhere in between, your images should reflect your story, not anyone else’s.

Because the best branding photos aren’t the ones that all look the same.

They’re the ones that feel unmistakably like you. 🤍

When you hire the whole house that is but very quickly decide that this is your favourite spot 👌✨😂

Lighting really is everything … and I can’t resist 🤣 but wasn’t it worth it for ‘s branding session?

I promise we did shoot in other areas of the house 🤣

Watch till the end to see the variety of moments we captured in such a small but versatile area 👌

All part of the package when it comes to diverse branding sessions and images that last 🙌✨

If you’re ready to elevate your brand imagery, DM or comment ‘AUGUST’ to book my next available weekend on the 8th and 9th of August 🗓️

If you took the first four letters of your first name and the first three letters of your last name, what would it spell? 🖊️

That’s exactly what I did when I was 15, coming up with the artist name I thought I’d one day use as a famous songwriter.

I didn’t want to use my full name, and I figured that if I ever got married and changed my last name, I wouldn’t have to change my business name. It would also keep a nostalgic connection to my maiden name.

When I started my business at 18, it was originally Daniche Photography, and the name “Daniche” came straight from that idea I had at 15.

Now, at 32, it’s still with me. The only thing that’s changed is I’ve evolved it from Daniche Photography to Daniche Creative because I do far more than just photos these days 🎉👌

I was pretty lucky with the combination too, other members of my family tried the same thing, and theirs didn’t quite have the same ring to it 🤣

Now that I’m married and have a different surname, my business name has become exactly what I hoped it would: a nostalgic reminder of where it all started.

I love that this is something I can thank my 15-year-old self for. You don’t need to have all the life experience in the world to make decisions that last.

So tell me… if you took the first four letters of your first name and the first three letters of your last name, what would yours be? 👇

POV: Your client’s brand colour just happens to be your favourite colour… 💚

Can never enough of sage green, so safe to say I was obsessed with my camera roll when I did these branding images for last year ✨that are still going strong as she’s kept the same colour through her location📍 change.

If ever actually getting around to tattooing my eyebrows 😂 I’ll be headed straight to you Tash 👌

Do our personalities lead us to the work we do? Or does the work we do slowly shape the people we become?

I used to think photographers were naturally observant people.

Now I wonder if photography made them that way.

After years of meeting people from every walk of life, I’ve realised something: everyone wants to be seen, everyone worries about how they’re perceived, and everyone is carrying something you can’t see.

Being behind a camera has taught me to be less interested in appearances and more curious about people.

To listen before assuming.
To observe before judging.
To create a space where people feel safe to be themselves.

The more I do that, the more I realise those lessons don’t stay behind the camera.

They’re changing the way I move through the world.

Maybe the greatest thing photography has given me isn’t a portfolio.

It’s a perspective I can take into every chapter
