Sometimes our daydream and our reality don’t quite lineup,

Because when I imagine motherhood, this is literally what I think of. For looking through fields of daisies.

And whilst our reality doesn’t always look like that, it is so special to paint that picture in real life in our Daisy field Photography sessions.

There’s a version of your relationship that only exists right now.

The one where it’s just the two of you... late mornings, quiet coffees, doing nothing in particular and loving it. Soon there’ll be a tiny person who needs you both, and that’s a whole new kind of beautiful. But THIS chapter, the “just us” one, draws to a close.

So go on that date.

Take the long drive with no destination.

Sit in silence together and let it feel full instead of empty.

Do nothing.

Feel….. bored together. Before every last second is filled.

You’re not just a couple anymore, you’re about to become a family. Soak up every last bit of who you are. Because there’s a richness and a depth coming, but it will look very different to how it does now.
