TIN TOWN BOOK LAUNCH

Everyone the day is finally here. We can officially launch our Tin Town book. Tin Town is a photo based historical publication initially compiled to commemorate 150 years of Stanthorpe becoming a municipality.

Details of the launch are on the attached poster and are:

🎉LOCATION: Stanthorpe Showgrounds tea pavilion

As well as the formalities we will have:

Wow, what a journey we have been through but we got there. We have done it, WOOHOO. Today we handed over our Tin Town Book project to our printer Kevin from A Better Way To Print to do his magic. A BIG thank you to my wonderful and patient offsider, Paula Boatfield and all of the amazing contributors. Without you all, there wouldn't be a book. Thank you to everyone including my family, Keith, Jim and Robert who has supported us throughout this journey.

Over the last 18mths or so, I have been lucky enough on several occasions to do some aerial photography. This was mainly for material for our Tin Town book but we ventured out of the Granite Belt a few times. It's was so good to see the ground from a different perspective. Yesterday I was invited to the RSL Sub Branch Thank-you luncheon to enjoy a lovely three course meal as their guest and to take pics on the day. What a wonderful afternoon with great people. And then this surprise happened, I was totally blown away. Thank you so much RSL Sub Branch and especially to Connie. I wasn't expecting this at all, as I volunteer my time because I enjoy being involved and for my love of photography.
